Newsom Eye has been providing Telehealth services to patients since March 23, 2020 for patients who prefer to be evaluated from the comfort of their home.

With a Telehealth appointment a doctor evaluates you over video and/or the phone.  The doctor will determine if a Telehealth visit is appropriate for your chief complaint.

If you are interested in a Telehealth visit, request one today by calling 863-385-1544 (Sebring) or 813-908-2020 (Tampa), or requesting an appointment through Appointment Request.

Your medical insurance will be verified for Telehealth benefits and a self-pay option is also available.

What to expect during your Telehealth appointment?
No login, account creation, or app download required, allowing ease of access to care.

When a Telehealth appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive a text message and/or e-mail confirmation (depending upon what we have on file for you) with a link to a Telehealth session.

Join the session by clicking on the link and enable, or allow access, to your computer/phone’s camera and audio.

If you receive a second text message or e-mail with the Telehealth visit link, that means the provider is ready to virtually see you.  If you are not already in the session, click on the link.

When the Telehealth visit is complete, the Telehealth session will end and the link will no longer be valid.

Appropriate follow-up will be determined based on the doctor’s evaluation during the Telehealth visit.

Note:  Telehealth video/audio session links are not compatible with Internet Explorer, Amazon Kindle or other e-readers.  Javascript must be enabled (enabled by default in most web browsers)
