Board Certified Ophthalmologist

Dr. Moses is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology with a Residency in Ophthalmology. As a Flight Commander and Comprehensive Ophthalmologist previously serving patients at MacDill Air Force Base, she brings extensive knowledge and expertise to our Newsom Eye team.

At MacDill Air Force Base, Dr. Moses provided treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, and general eye care, as well as served as a member of the Integrated Resilience Team, which provided operational support and resources to personnel in order to promote resilience and culture change for the 6th Air Refueling Wing at MacDill. Dr. Moses treats all patients like they are her family or friend, and wants them to feel comfortable and involved in every step of their care.

Currently a Tampa Bay resident, Dr. Moses was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. Outside of her clinic work, Dr. Moses enjoys dancing, cooking, hosting friends and family, and reading. She is passionate about advocacy and joined the Center for Vision and Population Health’s A.S.P.E.C.T. program. This program stands for Advocacy, Support, Perspective, Empowerment, Communication, and Training, which aims to strengthen patient empowerment efforts for vision into a coordinated program and whose goal is to empower individuals to be engaged in their eye health from every direction and in every way.
